Established in 2023, Rooby-Doo PSA/AS Club is a non-profit association committed to promoting the sports of PSA and American Schutzhund. Our mission goes beyond the field, placing a strong emphasis on fostering a sense of teamwork among our members, promoting the principles of good sportsmanship, and prioritizing the well-being of our working dogs.

Membership & Fees


Rooby-Doo PSA/AS is a club with a goal-oriented approach focused on preparing both dog and handler for competition in PSA or American Schutzhund. As a member, you have the flexibility to attend training sessions as your schedule permits, although consistent attendance can expedite your progress towards achieving your goals. Prospective members are invited to get in touch with us and arrange a time to attend.


Member Fees:


The annual membership fee is $75.00.

  • $30/first round
  • $15/second round

Scent Detection (AS)

  • $20/first round
  • $10/second round


Protection (PSA or AS)

  • $25/first round

Non-Member Fees:


Rooby-Doo PSA/AS offers non-members the opportunity to participate in our training sessions on a drop-in basis, making it a great option for those interested in trying out PSA or American Schutzhund before committing to membership. While drop-in sessions provide flexibility, if you plan to attend regularly, becoming a member is the more cost-effective choice. Non-member fees apply per session.

Training Workshops


Our club aims to host monthly training workshops designed to expand your skillset and better prepare both handler and dog for trials in PSA or American Schutzhund. Whether you're looking to fine-tune specific areas or gain a deeper understanding of competition requirements, these workshops are an excellent resource to support your progress toward trial readiness.


Workshop Fees:

Upcoming Events

Club & Field Rules


  1. All first time visitors and new members must sign a waiver before attending club training.
  2. All visitors/members are required to check in and sign the logbook in the training room upon arrival on club days, including event days.
  3. All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and in good health. 
  4. Dogs must be crated when not being worked and must be kept leashed.
  5. Dogs will be worked on a first-come, first-served basis upon arrival at club.
  6. Assisting with equipment setup, takedown, and field maintenance is an expected part of membership. Every member's contribution plays a role in creating a club environment that benefits everyone. By participating, you help ensure that we can continue hosting monthly events and weekly training sessions.
  7. Respect club property and facilities. Use designated potty areas, do not let your dog urinate or defecate on the training field and ensure that all waste bags are properly disposed of.
  8. Demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect towards all members. Whether new to the sport or seasoned veterans, we are all working towards similar goals and supporting each other is key to our collective success. Defamation of character, bullying, harassment, or any form of disrespect will not be tolerated. Understand that everyone progresses at their own pace, and treating each other with kindness and encouragement is essential for maintaining a positive and supportive club environment.
